My wife and I went on the “Secretly Awesome Tour” with Captain Mike last week and just learning how things work at a port was fascinating and very educational. We have a better appreciation of the importance and skills of the many workers that make loading and unloading boats, turning and guiding boats, etc. happen. It was also interesting seeing ships in process of being built, repaired, or demolished for scrap.
The knowledge gained about the ecosystem of the estuary was also of great interest and makes one appreciate the the divine design in this marvelous and important area of the world.
