I’ve now gone on multiple WildNative trips, and I have yet to be disappointed. Most recently, I went on the dolphin tour. Our guide, Cassie, was excellent. She said she has a degree in zoology, and it showed. She was knowledgeable and personable. We saw several dolphins. It was exciting and fun. Cassie also knew her stuff about other wildlife — especially birds. It was a really nice afternoon.

My tour guide, Valerie, was terrific: friendly and helpful, steering us smoothly and quietly through the water though we were a group of mixed kayaking abilities. She’s an ace at spotting alligators, blue herons, brown pelicans, and lotus flowers in all stages of their life cycle. The boat launch was so convenient and the timing of our tour – 5:30pm in late July – was ideal for escaping the heat. I’m coming back to Mobile to do this again; it was an amazing way to get to know the area.

So relaxing to be out on the water in a kayak. Captain Chris provided local history, facts about the wildlife and the coastal ecosystems. Definitely recommend this guided tour if you are in the Gulf Shores area!

Chris was extremely engaging and knowledgeable. My wife and I were staying at Maeher State Park, walked over to the put-in and did a tandem kayak on the tour. Chris greeted us there. There were 11 kayaks, but Chris got us in the water quickly and soon we were experiencing the delta. Saw alligators, osprey, eagles and other wildlife. Very enjoyable.

Cassie was a terrific tour guide- very knowledgeable and personable. I recommend this tour for something different in exploring the coastal area, while still being a beginner. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see dolphins but it was still a memorable experience!

We had a wonderful time on the Dolphin Kayak tour! The guide, Chris, was knowledgeable and clearly loved the area, wildlife, and environment. We only saw one dolphin, but still enjoyed all of the birds, fish, and beautiful scenery. Thanks to you all!
