Gulf Shores Kayak Tour

We had a wonderful time and learned a lot about some local wildlife. We shared much of the knowledge gained with our family on other outings later in the week! We were lucky enough to see a lot of dolphin at the end of our tour that came within 5 feet of our kayaks. There were people young to old and everyone seemed to have a great time! We plan on doing it again when our children get older.

Great fun and educational too!

Such a great time my only complaint is the three hours went by so fast. We had an expert guide and felt like Chris was a kayaking encyclopedia with all his knowledge of the area, geography and wildlife. Even his recommendations for restaurants were spot on. Highly recommend and will be back for more next time in Orange Beach!

Great!

We enjoyed our tour very much. We asked for Chris as we have two kids, 7 and 11 and he got great reviews with kids. He didn’t disappoint. He is knowledgable and witty and very experienced. I’d recommend him in a heartbeat. Loved the scenery and history lesson and info on the area. And we saw a lot of dolphins which everyone loved.

Fabulous Tour

I signed my family up for the tour hoping they would enjoy it. They did!!! Chris and Cassie were fabulous guides. We had fun and learned a lot about the animals that share the land and water ways. Even though we did not see dolphins, it was still a great time and will do this again next time we are down!!!! Even if your not an experienced kayaker (1st time my fiance had been in a kayak)…you need to do this!!

Honeymooners looking for adventure

We had an AMAZING time with Chris as our tour guide. He was very informative about the wildlife and area around us! I had never kayaked before but my husband had a bit but we both had a great time and no problems keeping up! We also saw some dolphins, which was really neat. Overall we had a fantastic experience and will definitely do again

Bottle Creek Indian Mound

Chris took us to the Bottle Creek Indian Mound on 1/13, by kayak from Rice Creek landing, in an all-day trip, through a string of bayou and rivers, in what really did look like America’s Amazon. The mounds themselves are fabulous, built by native Americans almost 800 years ago, and still standing. Chris was a superb guide to the history and culture of these native Americans, and is a great naturalist as well. It was super muddy and the flies were in abundance, but it was a great trip. We are going to take another WildNative Tour the next time we are in Mobile.
